Hm not a bad week, finished fairly busy at work, but spemt today time waisting and filing basically. This was spotted, with a fairly sarcastic comment from the team leader, but frankly I try not to take it too seriously. I'll meet the targets and I still know more about pensions than a lot of them there, so I'm pretty secure in what I do in that respect.
So the festival last weekend was good but I didn't really speak to anyone at. This week has been quite sociable with theatre trip and work walking-group. next weekend is the charity walk up a munro. http://www.wateraidmunrochallenge.org/the_challenge/ This shouldn't be too hard actually, and at least I'm trying to do something maybe a little out of my comfort zone ie I'm not just think about yours truly and trying to raise a little for a good cause - wateraid
"WaterAid now works in 26 countries in Africa, Asia and the Pacific region to improve their quality of life through lasting improvements to water, sanitation and hygiene education using local skills and practical, sustainable technologies" http://www.wateraid.org/uk/about_us/default.asp
I'm not really asking anyone herre to give (though if you do feel like giving something then here's the link http://www.justgiving.com/Neil-Oliver ) I know I'm deeply crap in suppporting others charities but just doing this is reminding me that it doesn;t "do" to be sat in your own all the time. so up a hill it is and just remember next time you turn on a tap, that simple joy of a glass of water or a shower is not that simple for many people in the world...
Normal service of self pitying will no doubt return soon, stay tuned, or more likey don't because I can winge about nothing for ages and hey really I'm sorry about that and thank you one and all for putting up with me for the last two decaades.
