In other news I'm around in Sheffield from Monday 17th to Monday 31 August (bank holiday Monday), if anyone can let me know when and where ususal socials my be I'd be grateful. If there are no usual socials, let me know when is good for people as I feel the need to celebrate being 39+1 in the near future with beer and friends.

Things are a bit mental and knackering here, gearing up for building work with associated shopping nightmares, but I'm sure I'll have time for a cuppa tea.

There's usually a smallan elite crowd down at the New Barrack Tavern from about 6ish on a Friday. Dunno who still goes to the Hillsborough, but that tends to be the later crowd.

We now do a monthly social at the Walkley Cottage which has a really good turnout on the first Friday, but you're missing that by a week...
