Oh well, nice try Neil

massive anxiety attack over the weekend. am giving up the new job and with luck getting the old one back.

I'm dissapointed, I hoped that I could manage my anxiety in a new situation, but I can't.

thanks to all for your best wishes in the run up to the new job and sorry if I've not kept up with people recently as promised. esp sorry to [livejournal.com profile] dead_mike for not ringing.

*Hugs*

Being ill like that sucks, I know. But well done for having the courage to try for your old job.

It's good that you can have your old job back, but it's a pity - the other one sounded good!

*hugs* that is a shame, but at least you had a go and know you gave it a try. Maybe the travelling bit is abit much?

And phew to getting old job back.

Hey Neil, I don't mind about you not ringing, If you still want to come up, there will be tea,

I'm free, almost every day now, except mondays,

so If you wanted to come up tomorrow that would be cool, but most other days will be fine.

sorry to hear about the job,

Mike :)

Sorry to hear this one didn't work out, maybe you can find something a little nearer your comfort zone rather than staying at the old job for a long time,- hopefully this has shown you what you do and do not want.

Big hugs, hope you feel more in control very soon.

That's a shame about the job. Mind you, I don't think I could cope with the trains every day. I'm glad things worked out with getting the old job back - gives you a bit more breathing space to keep looking for something better! Hope you find something that suits you.

The whole thing has shown a) that you can get a job like the new one and b) you're good enough at the old one that they'll have to back. Both are very positive things and worth rememebring.

I've learnt a lot about myself from this and am coming away much happier with my lot then I was before. I've really lost nothing and have gained a lot.

Thanks for your comments all, they've made me think a lot and made me very happy. I don't plan to be looking for new jobs again, but I do plan to be a bit more active in my hobbies and my social life.
