Today, I stopped my team leader underquoting someone's pension by almost 50%. I walked to the new flat for lunch and back to work. I failed to do that in under an hour, only just, but enough to not make it tenable each day. I'm still in walking distance and much closer.
I moved a rucksack of books to new flat and the bus driver was the same one as yesterday, when I did the same thing! It was just getting light and the view of the sky from the new flat is perfect.
I went home this afternoon to tidy for the estate agent coming to look at old flat, but when I got through on phone they aren't coming till Tuesday. still not wasted time. I got my new tablet though post and went to shop and got replacement phone for lost phone. I feel very 21st century.
It's when everything changes and you gotta be ready! don't cha know?
Actually I feel very UNREADY and quite nervous this evening. I'm fine just too many new things at once.
New electronic shiney things are new and shiney. OK they aren't bang up to date this month's versions, but I really do feel like an old person going "tell me about this phone then sunny Jim, you mean I can talk to people somewhere else on it?"
Yes I'm not that old, but I've never had gadgets that sinc to my accounts and stuff I already own suddenly shows up on new things. It's like magic I tell you!
