Jan. 10th, 2011 10:55 pmWell first full day back at work after christmas new year and what I'll should describe as a bad cold rather than flu. So well over two weeks off and back to usual work stuff.
So what's the plan for this year? Well there is a broad outline at the moment, and some day to day specifics
As usual I'm behind on stuff, especially my OU, but at least I've started the assignemnt a week before it's due in. I hink I will need to get an extension though this time as I haven't read all the moduals yet.
Longer term plans well hold steady till the summer, work will be pretty busy over the next few months and so holiday time is limited. but I may try and take a few days in March before everything gets busy. at the same time I'm heading over to Glasgow once a month to keep up the contacts I've made there. After the summer, well I'd hope to try and loose some weight, bbut this generally involves bering rested and active so no targets, just try and build the studying and activity into the general routine.
I'm certainly thinking of moving on from Perth this year or next, 2 and a half to three years out of the loop is enough, so either a move to Glasgow or to somewhere in shouting distance of Sheffield would be under consideration. one would hopefully continue the new friendships I'm making, the other would allow me to see Sheffield people more often and get back into the English folk / Morris scene again.
There's plus and minus about both options and of course it's based on job opportunities as well.
So here's to the future my friends, life's what you make it so make it good!
