Christmas - Why oh Why

You know chaps and chapesses(?) The whole Christmas thing seems like an excuse (and I include myself here) to do one of the following


Bad Things
travel long distances at the same time as everyone else
Piss off or be pissed of by members of your family

Good Things
Choose to be with people you love not those you are supposed to love
Eat & drink as much or as little as you like


BTW DO NOT get dragged into the whole christmas card thing - this one is really begining to piss me off - it seems so simple - it is fraught with social danger. Do you know peoples address, do you know their surname, do you konw their partner's and or sprog's name? Do you just send to the person you know or do you include their step children etc etc its a BLOODY MINEFIELD.

You may gather I have got myself in some trouble with this one this year already.
