Oct. 5th, 2004 04:39 pmWell first post in a while.
Hm busy weekend just gone,
Thursday - beer festival,
Friday Batfink our fun local goth night living up to it's standards -much fun was had. Good to see little Jenny -thanks to springmaker for bringing her along (PS can anyone tell me how to do the links as I cannot understand the instructions - d'oh looser!)
Saturday much morris dancing fun with 'Freaks in the Peaks' in Youlgreave nr Bakewell
back to Sheffield on Saturday night to go to a baptism on Sunday morning at 9am!!!
The baptism was good, although despite the fact I haven't attended a service at St Thomas' Church for many a long year I got recognised by a lot of people - hm you may have left the church, but it never leaves you!
I missed the party for Liz on Saturday due to extreme tiredness, I passed by the Nelson on my way home and almost fell asleep in the pub!
ANyway the rest of Sunday and Monday were spent at UGC watching De-lovely and the Life and death of Peter Sellers, both deeply flawed films, but fun none the less.
I am trying to get myself geared up to do an open university course or something to get myself thinking or being creative. Stay tuned. Early days yet but I'll keep you posted.
